Article Submission on Steroids

By: Larry Westfall
We all know the reasons for submitting articles online to all of the many, article depositories that reside on the Internet. Writing an original article and submitting it will get you massive exposure, your credibility will be enhanced, and you will receive quality and relevant leads to your website. The more sites you submit to, the more exposure you will receive.Submitting your articles establishes you as an expert in whatever field you have chosen to write about. If your articles have relevant content, they could be picked up by numerous other websites, Blogs and eZines getting you additional exposure.

Ensure that you use original content, write articles that are straight and to the point, and have something important to say. Search engines look for meaningful, original content and are quick to spider something fresh and new. And we all know how important it is to be indexed by the major search engines and also to be constantly checked by the spiders for updated material. A stale and stagnant web page will get nowhere in search-engine land.

There are many web site owners, eZine publishers and eBook creators that are starving for quality content and would jump at the chance for fresh, quality content. We all get tired of seeing the same old stale material on every web site we visit, so publishers are always on the lookout for quality material.

The problem we all face is manually submitting the articles to the hundreds of article submission sites. Having to copy and paste each individual field, different formats and requirements for each and every site, and then being rejected because of some minor problem. This is an extremely time-consuming and tedious process but well worth the effort if one wants their site exposed all over the Internet. AN automated article submitter is your answer.

So, make sure that you write quality material, your content is accurate and fresh, and that you submit your articles to as many sites as possible. In this case, exposing yourself is a good thing.

Article Equalizer

By: Sanjib Ahmad
A website without fresh content is a stagnant website. Generating constant fresh content everyday can be a difficult task. Among other methods, articles are a great way to add new content. The “Article Equalizer” software claims to do exactly that – generate fresh content and pages to your site from selected articles. As a webmaster you have many things to do: you have to manage services, provide customer support, reply to emails, maintain websites and more. The more automated you can make your daily tasks, the more productive you can be.The process with Article Equalizer works as below:

1. Run the software “Article Equalizer”
2. Choose a data source and category has to be chosen (for example, Computers and Internet)
3. The software collects up to 1000 articles
4. It generate pages from selected articles
5. You then upload final pages to your website

I think a product like “Article Equalizer” can minimize a webmaster’s daily work schedule. Therefore it might be possible for a webmaster to:

* Create content-rich and large sites
* Tap into a continuous supply of targeted content
* Automatically insert content into pre-designed site templates
* Keep a site fresh by adding new content regularly

I remember that I was so busy with client work that I could not update my website for 2 months. Slowly my traffic started declining, and when my client work was finished I didn’t have anything new to work on. I hope you can avoid similar mistakes.

For more information on this product you can visit http://computer-internet.marc8.com/ebook-info.php/name/article_equalizer/toc_id/6-0-6-4/

Article Submitter Pro Review

By: Joseph Tierney
If you have ever submitted articles to gain website popularity, then you know how long the pain-staking process takes. Well, there is a new automatic article submitting software that was just released last week called Article Submitter Pro. This software automatically formats your articles, rotates bio boxes, and converts the articles from text to HTML – whatever the article directory requires.I submitted an article last week titled "The Truth – Adsense Click Fraud Can Not be Stopped" to less than half of the directories in Article Submitter Pro. The process took me roughly 20-25 minutes. As of right now my article has been picked up 55 times in Google, 32 times in Yahoo!, and 739 times in MSN. MSN updates faster than the other search engines so I am expecting the others to increase soon. These are real results that I have received using the Article Submitter Pro software.

Each of the websites that picked up my article has my bio box at the bottom with my link in it and the anchor text that I requested. As you can see I am targeting the keyword phrase "Auction Fraud Protection". Not all of the websites let you include HTML formatting, so your link will only appear in this way http://www.stopauctionfraud.com, but this still gives you PageRank.

Article Submitter Pro also has a great feature that grabs your article off of a website. This is useful if you have already submitted your article and you want to go and grab it off of a website that has picked it up already. After grabbing the article, you can easily convert it to text and HTML in a snap.

You may have seen the software package Article Announcer that was released in June. Honestly, Article Announcer and Article Submitter Pro have basically the same features, but Article Submitter Pro is the smarter purchase.

Why is it a smarter purchase?

1. Article Submitter Pro is an instant download so you can get started immediately. With the Article Announcer package you have to wait for the man in the brown truck to arrive with your package. Some people have been seeing delays of 3 weeks for delivery.

2. Article Submitter Pro is adding many of the user-requested features. I just received an update (one week after release) with a new feature that has been requested by a Article Submitter Pro user. You can submit the features that you would like to see in future releases of the software.

3. Article Submitter Pro is less than half of the price of Article Announcer.

I recommend you purchase this software if you write and submit articles to make your website popular (The easiest way unless you want to pay an arm and a leg!)

You will definetly increase your search engine rankings, backlinks, and website traffic overall even if you just use Article Submitter Pro one time. Imagine submitting one article per day? The results are endless.

“Are You Submitting Your Articles…?”

By: Robert Leggett
You have permission to publish this article in its entirety, electronically or in print, free of charge, as long as Robert Leggett's byline is included. A courtesy copy of your publication would be appreciated.ARTICLE WORD COUNT: [686]

KEY WORDS: submit,articles,Jason Potash,Article Announcer,dynamic balance,equilibrium,new authors,articles,Google,Yahoo,MSN,always intelligently automate whenever possible,strong headlines,valuable content,Submission Guidelines,become a better writer,Article Submission Directories,submission sites

SUMMARY: I anticipated a reaction to the introduction of this new software [Jason Potash's "Article Announcer"]. I was right. I chose to submit last month's article, "Penury Perpetuates Poverty" the "hard way," one by one to various submission sites on the Internet. Out of about 80 submissions, I discovered about 25% have temporarily (I hope) ceased accepting new authors/articles. Some submission pages came up with a 404 Error upon clicking the "submit" button.

* * * * * * *

Last month, I began promoting Jason Potash's "Article Announcer." I always take time to research new products on the market. I don't believe in "magic bullets." There is a principle taught in physics, chemistry, biology and even Algebra 101. Nature seeks dynamic balance, equilibrium. If you add something to the left side of the = sign, the right side moves to balance it.

I anticipated a reaction to the introduction of this new software.

One came up with the following: "Wére being plagued by so many automated submissions, duplicate article submissions, etc. that we spend too much time in selecting the real articles that matter. For this reason we are temporary not accepting new submissions until we have implemented some security measures to block bad submissions. We hope you understand. Please come back in about 1 month to submit your articles."

Some have extremely obtuse instructions. Some simply don't work. Some are very specialized. Some are email submissions only (which opens the door to being spam'd). Some of these bounced. One may have had his ISP overloaded, shut down, and later began accepting articles again.

Right now I'm checking each site if my article was accepted. I know it is "loading the dice" when I access Google, Yahoo, MSN and search on ["Robert Leggett" Penury]. I was getting over 600 listings and dominated the first few pages of these search engines. I'm even listed on sites where I never submitted.

Of course just after doing my first "submission run" I periodically checked Google. Wow! Exposure just kept growing! Then, one day, I got no listing at all on Google. Yahoo still liked me a little. The following day I was baaaaaack. I need to research why Google didn't like me that one day. Now my search engine hits have settled down to a more realistic number.

Shortly after going to press, I continued checking latest submission and submitted my next article, "Discover your Creativity." I am "paying my dues." I must know how this all works. It is new to me. Once I see everything has settled down and a more stable balance has been achieved, I will seriously consider purchasing Jason Potash's "Article Announcer" – if it saves me time. Always intelligently automate whenever possible!

"Doing it the hard way" I have discovered my articles must have strong headlines. They must contain words search engine spiders like. They must have valuable content. Don't take my word on this. Check out a lot of "Submission Guidelines" at different directories. Through necessity, I must become a better writer.

This exercise was time intensive. I have profited more not taking a "magic bullet" approach. Other benefits include "sharpening up" our webZine "Cyberspace Marketeer," offering greater content and more user-friendly design. I have just added a new page which includes 37 user-friendly Article Submission Directories.

Recently I received the following [edited] message from one of these Directories: "You can now save your default RESOURCE BOX and up to 2 additional RESOURCE BOXES for your default author and alternate author accounts – SAVING YOU THE TIME from having to copy and paste it each time you send in a new article. :-). Think of the additional time you can save with this new feature? Perhaps you might want to head to the gym earlier or better yet, send in another article now that you can do it in less time! 🙂 *hint hint*"

They want you! Write and rewrite your articles you plan to submit. Research different submission sites. If you publish your own eZine or webZine, some sites accept these listings, too. Some sites also accept News Releases. Get a feel for these submission sites. Work with them. When you eventually decide to put much of this on automatic, you will have a much better overview of the process.

15 Commandments To Submitting Articles – Article Submission

By: Martin Lemieux
15 Commandments To Submitting Articles – Article Submission Sites By: Martin Lemieux1) Don't use all capitals in your title:

People don't like to be yelled at. USING CAPITALS is the same as yelling and looks awful. There aren't many article submission sites that accept ALL capitals in your title.

2) Only use HTML when asked:

There is nothing worse for an editor when he/she has to strip out HTML because you failed to follow the guidelines. If the website asks for NO HTML then don't add any.

3) Only use simple HTML:

If you are allowed to use HTML, just use the basics. Ex. (P)aragraph, (B)old, (I)talicized, (LI)st bullets, (A)link, etc. These HTML codes are considered basic and are usually accepted when submitting your article in HTML format.

4) Don't use articles to advertise your services within the content:

There is nothing worse than reviewing an article and seeing 5/10 links that are owned by the author embedded within the content of the article. Granted, sometimes you have something unique to help others with and you need to get the word out, I like to see such promotion but ONLY if it is useful for the readers and it is FREE, not a paid service or product. Try not to use this unique information within every single article that you write. This info will then become a little useless for the editors and they may even delete that section. Please remember to READ the "Author Guidelines" before you start submitting your articles.

5) Don't submit press releases as tips:

There is a distinct difference between a press release and an informative article. Press releases are strictly for announcing news about your company. Informative articles teach people about a specific subject (not about your company).

6) Have your articles edited by editors:

These days, there are so many authors trying to make their mark. It is imperative that you get your article edited by an editor, friend, colleague, or someone who is really good at checking for spelling and grammar.

7) Try to write something unique to the industry:

People all over the world are writing about the same thing. If you truly want to shine, try writing about topics that aren't covered by everyone. If you discover something new, do some research on what people are saying about it. If you can't find any other content, you may have found a gold mine.

8) Don't copy other people's content:

This topic is seriously funny. We have caught people actually stealing our articles and simply changing the title of the article to call it their own. How pathetic! If you use someone else's content, only use it for study, not for your own promotion and recognition. If you "quote" someone else, make sure to give credit where appropriate.

9) Find 5 new article submission sites to submit to:

If you submit articles once a week, try and make it a habit to find 5 new article submission sites to submit to. I guarantee you that new article submission websites popup almost weekly. We are still finding new sites to submit to, there is no limit to your search. Go within Google and do a search similar to "article submission sites", or "Where to submit articles to?".

Here are 5 newer article submission sites:

9.1) http://www.article99.com 9.2) http://www.a1articles.com 9.3) http://www.activeauthors.com 9.4) http://www.articlepros.com 9.5) http://www.free-articles-zone.com

10) Keep your author bio short & sweet:

Try keeping your author biography short & sweet. There is nothing worse than seeing an article submission and realizing that most of the article content is within the author bio. Use one sentence and a couple of links. Most submission sites will accept up to 3 links within your resource box.

11) Don't buy articles from other companies and call them your own:

Commandment #11 is sweeping the world and is giving the article writing industry a bad name. Please don't even consider buying articles from people that claim that they will write a "UNIQUE" article for you to promote. Trust me when I tell you this, the article that you buy has been sold and re-sold many times. You will be doing your company no justice at all by buying articles. Article submission websites frown down on this method and will ban you from ever submitting articles again if you are caught.

12) Try not to attack others within your articles:

Being libelous is not good karma. Attacking others will give a negative effect for your articles. In fact, most article submission websites won't accept articles that are libelous.

13) Use copyright information at the bottom of your article:

Adding your copyright information at the top won't help you at all. I've come across many websites that simply delete your copyright information if it is listed at the top. That's what your author bio is for. Add any reprint rights and copyright information within your bio.

14) Affiliate links should never be used:

DO NOT USE AFFILIATE LINKS PERIOD! Promoting affiliate links within articles is a no no. Most article submission websites have a rule against listing affiliate links within author's articles (body content) and your author bio. If you absolutely need to use an affiliate link, try creating a "short link" that simplifies the link into a smaller, more compact link.

15) Setup For Manual Submissions:

Most link submission softwares aren't the answer. There is nothing better than personalizing your submissions by submitting them manually. Granted, this can take up to 2-4 hours per week if you write one article a week BUT submitting manually will get your article listed within two times as many article submission websites than the software's can. Many websites require a login or show you an image to "enter the characters shown" to login and submit articles. By using a software, you will never be able to submit to such companies.

Many article submission websites have different and unique fields that they require for you to enter. If you use a software, you will never have that personal touch that each individual website & editor is looking for and your articles will never be accepted.

If you follow these commandments, you should have no problem getting your articles listed on 1000's of websites and get a great deal of promotion for your company.

Keep writing and keep submitting!

The Ins and Outs of Article Submissions

By: Deborah Carraro
Congratulations! You’ve written your first article (or possibly your 10th or 100th!)As you no doubt already know, writing articles is probably the most effective way to establish yourself as an expert in your field and increase the traffic to your website. So you diligently write articles and then spend hours posting them to Article Submission websites. “There must be a smarter way?” you think each time you submit your articles. There is! Let’s look at simple techniques to get the most out of the time you will be investing in article submissions.Organization Saves TimeCreate a simple spreadsheet to organize each submission. The spreadsheet should contain the following:

  • URLs for all submission websites
  • User names and passwords for each site
  • Submission format (text, HTML, hyperlink URLs, etc.)
  • Submission date

Prep Your ArticleMost submission sites allow HTML coding, so spend the time to code your article before you start your submissions. Other sites post warnings that copying and pasting directly from Word will cause the article to be improperly formatted. Be sure you have a text version (created in Notepad) available. A few select sites require you to code the carriage returns into your article. Again, having a text file with HTML tags ready and waiting makes the submission process flow smoothly.

Know the RulesHere are some simple Do’s and Don’ts to help increase your success as a self-publisher.

Do’s

1.Always read the submission criteria before submitting your article. 2.Format your article to 60-65 characters/line when submitting to announcement lists or by email. 3.Use proper English, spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization and sentence structure. 4.Make time to manually submit articles. Most automated article submission services are frowned upon in the publishing industry.

Don’ts

  1. Do not write solo ads: You’re here to share your knowledge. No sales pitches allowed.
  2. Do not include affiliate links: Again, education is the goal, not sales.
  3. Do not submit more than one article per week: Most publishers receive thousands of articles daily. If you submit more than 1 article per week, chances are, your second submission will be discarded.

Remember: You don’t have to go it alone. If you’re overwhelmed by the writing or submission process, hire help.

Best Places To Submit Your Articles For Viral Traffic Generation

By: Terence Tan
This article from The Mender (Issue 38),
Metamend's Web Site Optimization and Marketing Newsletter. If you've spent any time online trying to promote your website or business, you must have very likely realized that one of the most effective ways to generate tons of free targeted web traffic on a long term basis is to write your own informative articles and freely distribute them to other webmasters and ezine publishers for their use. Some of the benefits of this amazing strategy include:

-It's totally FREE and gets links to your website distributed to a huge number of other related websites on a permanent basis. No need to pay for the links… no need to give a return link on your own website to other sites.

-The presence of your links in many other websites also directly increases your Google PageRank and increases the targeted free traffic you get from search engines!

-When people see your name and website/company in the bylines of the articles on different sites, you will naturally be thought of as an "expert" in that field… This increases your credibility and makes it more likely that your visitors will take your recommendations to them more seriously.

The purpose of this article is to seek to create a comprehensive list of places where writers can submit their articles for distribution. By creating this list based on the contributions and "tip offs" of the visitors to HugeAffiliates.com, we hope to save you the large amounts of time searching the web for websites and article announcement services. (Yes, you can try to use google to search for "article submission sites" but you will waste precious time going through a lot of unrelated websites.)

If you find this useful, please bookmark it and use it whenever you have new articles to distribute. We will continue to update it with the latest links as we get "tip offs" from our visitors. If you have any links to suggest to us, please let us know using the "Contact Us" page on HugeAffiliates.com.

If you would like to reproduce this article and link resource in your website/ezine to increase your website's "stickability", please feel free to do so. (because of the convenience of finding all the possible submission sites on one page, many writers will bookmark your site if you have this resource on it.) Go ahead… Bookmark this page NOW! Please reproduce the whole article including any reference to HugeAffiliates.com though.

The Best Places To Submit Your Articles For Viral Traffic By: Terence Tan

If you've spent any time online trying to promote your website or business, you must have very likely realised that one of the most effective ways to generate tons of free targetted web traffic on a long term basis is to write your own informative articles and freely distribute them to other webmasters and ezine publishers for their use.

Some of the benefits of this amazing strategy include:

-it's totally FREE and gets links to your website distributed to a huge number of other related websites on a permanent basis…

…no need to pay for the links…

…no need to give a return link on your own website to other sites…

-The presence of your links in many other websites also directly increases your Google PageRank and increases the targetted free traffic you get from search engines!

-When people see your name and website/company in the bylines of the articles on different sites, you will naturally be thought of as an "expert" in that field…This increases your credibility and makes it more likely that your visitors will take your recommendations to them more seriously.

The purpose of this article is to seek to create a comprehensive list of places where writers can submit their articles for distribution…

By creating this list based on the contributions and "tip offs" of the visitors to HugeAffiliates.com, we hope to save you the large amounts of time searching the web for websites and article announcement services (yes, you can try to use google to search for "article submission sites" but you will waste precious time going through a lot of unrelated websites).

If you find this page useful, please bookmark it…and use it whenever you have new articles to distribute…we will continue to update it with the latest links as we get "tip offs" from our visitors.

If you have any links to suggest to us, please let us know using the "Contact Us" page on HugeAffiliates.com.

If you would like to reproduce this article and link resource in your website/ezine to increase your website's "stickability", please feel free to do so. (because of the convenience of finding all the possible submission sites on one page, many writers will bookmark your site if you have this resource on it…Go Ahead…Bookmark this page NOW!)

Please reproduce the whole article including any reference to HugeAffiliates.com though.
